Ace Hardware
In 2022, Ace sought my expertise to enhance their branded bagged line of plumbing repair items, aiming to tackle prevalent customer complaints.
I collaborated closely with the Ace brand group, proposing design concepts aimed at improving customer experience. These included incorporating line art to aid product recognition, reducing the red area to enhance visibility of bag contents, and implementing color coding by size for easier identification.

Bath Waste
Half Kit
Designed packaging that’s sonically sealed for added security, ensuring the integrity of the product. I meticulously adhered to established brand standards to maintain consistency in the look and feel across the entire product range.

Creative Solutions
- Quadtro Labels
Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, our suppliers faced limitations in printing the packaging required for the Quadtro line.
To address this issue, I collaborated closely with the marketing and engineering teams to swiftly develop custom labels. We minimized design time and adapted to the situation by utilizing blank corrugated boxes for a domestic hand-pack solution.
Our concerted efforts ensured that we maintained a high fill rate, effectively keeping the Quadtro line stocked on the shelves of Home Depot and Lowes during these challenging times.

Sink Strainer
Spearheaded the creation of a new packaging design for the reintroduction of our sink strainer line. The Lowe’s buyer selected our design for its clean and straightforward appearance, featuring visually displayed product features.

Wrap Labels
- Supply Lines
Led the development of a new product offering tailored for the wholesale sales team. Our innovative solution features a three-color wrap label, complete with color coding and line art, facilitating quick and easy product identification during installation.
In 2023, our successful program launch marked a significant milestone in expanding the water supply assortment for the wholesale plumbing market, driving growth and meeting market demands effectively.
Blister Packaging
I played a crucial role within a team tasked with identifying and acquiring new packaging equipment for our expansive carded repair line at our manufacturing facility.
The implementation of this new machinery resulted in significant reductions in waste and labor, ultimately enhancing margins across 220 SKUs for both Do-It Best and Plumb Pak.
Moreover, the acquisition of the new packaging equipment aligned seamlessly with the redesign of the Plumb Pak carded line, transitioning it into a trilingual program.
I oversaw the approval of card designs, blister packaging, product positioning, and developed comprehensive brand guidelines. These initiatives empowered our design team to deliver artwork promptly and adhere to our established schedules.
