Merchandising

The merchandising process evolves and grows over time. Revised assortments, packaging improvements and consumer messaging is always evolving to increase sales and improve the shopping experience.

Lowes &
Home Depot Merchandising

Drawing on my extensive experience in program development and implementation, I’ve overseen projects from their inception at the design stage through to their presentation to accounts, gaining approval, and ultimately executing them.

Over the course of my career, I’ve introduced a variety of assortments to the consumer market, each meeting with success. This achievement has been the result of close collaboration with our in-house creative team, as together, we’ve crafted comprehensive strategies covering everything from merchandising to packaging, labeling, and signage, all aimed at elevating the overall customer experience.

In addition, I’ve played a key role in developing processes and procedures with our suppliers, ensuring that we remain on schedule and consistently meet customer deadlines.

Plumb Pak Program

Led the implementation of a package redesign for a trilingual house brand of products sold at hardware stores across the U.S. and Canada.

Oversaw the updated package design for over 750 SKUs, including blister cards, labels, poly-bags, and view packages. Managed both internal and external creative teams to ensure timely rollout.

The successful brand relaunch resulted in a 10% increase in sales compared to the previous year.

Ace Hardware

I oversaw all print requirements for a diverse range of over 400 SKUs. This involved collaborating closely with both domestic and import suppliers to address any packaging issues that arose during the resource process.

Additionally, I led the redesign of Ace’s brand packaging for both brass and plastic bagged assortments. I presented conceptual designs to the Ace team for approval, and the resulting revised program significantly enhanced the shopping experience for our customers.

Do-It Best

Responsible for overseeing a private label brand comprising more than 350 SKUs of bagged and carded plumbing repair items. Additionally, I played a key role in assisting the DIB brand team with the rebranding initiative, contributing to the redesign and update of the brand’s aesthetic to its current red and blue theme.

POS Displays

Created in-store corrugated displays tailored for retail accounts. These displays serve as effective tools to introduce new products to the industry or to allocate additional retail space for high-volume, high-profit items. Each display is meticulously designed to meet documented brand requirements, ensuring seamless integration with in-store merchandising efforts.

Prototype Product Display

A color-coded merchandising display was swiftly created for a sales presentation. Since the actual product was not yet available, valve images were simulated using CAD files and KeyShot. Additionally, simulated bags and labels were developed and color-coded by size to complete the presentation.
